I'm Home!
After meeting with my doctor on Monday and finishing up some tests on Tuesday, I was given "clearance" to go home. It feels so good to be here with my family even though I am not up to doing much yet.
My orders from my Doctor are to stay away from sick people and crowds, eat only cooked foods, exercise, and get myself as healthy as possible over the next two months so I can do it all again. In April I will have a second stem cell transplant.
My posts might not come as often as I concentrate on getting myself healthy, regaining my strength, and enjoying my family and everyday life. Once again Thank you for all of your support.

Kris, You're a Tropper You did it!!!, Get better and try to gain the same energy that you had before. Eat heathier, sleep good, exercise, drink water, be positive and laugh a lot!! Enjoy being home.
Yay,yay, yay!!! I am so thrilled for you!! I can only imagine how good it feels to be home, in your own bed, and with your family around you. I'm sure the kids don't want to even go to school or leave you for a minute. I've got a cold, so I won't come over until it's gone, but know that we still pray for you and keep you in our thoughts.
We love you!!
Good for you! I'm happy that you are now home. Enjoy these next few months. I start #2 on Monday. Keep in touch.
Congratulations on going home. I am excited that things are going well and that you get to be with your family. I will miss seeing you but will keep tabs on you
Dear Chris and Joe, thanks for the blog. Mitchell and I was able to get into it this morn. I guess we had a extra period in the URL. Your thoughts has been an inspiration to both of us. Mitchell had a operation yesterday. So we are recovering from this. When I called you, after I saw you coming home and I said that you were brave and you said that you had no choice. I thought you did have a choice to love God and be brave even though you did not have a choice about weather you had cancer or not. This is how a person is brave and that is how they go through the events of their lives. You are brave and our prayers are with you always. Sue and Mitch Thompson
